20 years of life in this mortal coil, and still i know nothing about how it moves. hi, i am friedrich karl and i am 20 years old from germany. why is the world the way it is? change has always been a constant, for sure. but how come the most important things that need change, don’t? call this existential angst, ok, but not my existence. but the world’s.
my country has had it’s dark days in history, and i hope it has atoned for it all. the wall has come down years ago, but still we are not united as a people. as for the world, they talk about globalisation, saying the world is getting smaller and that the world is now flat because of technology. sure. but how come we still don’t get along? even globalisation has it’s dark side. many lose jobs, while those who get it, are either taken advantage of or know nothing what it is they are doing. when will the fighting stop? hunger? poverty? strife?
